After my best friend "came out" to me, I read this book. I found it the library and it has helped me to understand the issue so much better. I laughed and I cried. Then I gave the book to my friend. He laughed, and he cried. I am so glad that there are books like this out there. I live about an hour away from a high school that just recently banned four books relating to gay issues. This wasn't one of them, but I think it's a shame that there are such narrow minded people in this world. This book opened up a whole new world to me.

I'm a bit biased since I wrote one of the chapters, but I do recommend this book as a good resource for people, especially teenagers, in the coming out process
