MEET TIM BARRY
Who says Chicago's tech scene has no entrepreneurial spirit? Tim Barry, a 29-year-old former consultant, has started EVO Knowledge, a Web-based business education company, from his "home office" -- a bedroom in his Lincoln Park apartment. Though the odds are against him, Tim is determined to make the business work. For 12 weeks, he'll seek your advice on a variety of business topics. You'll get a chance to show your wit and learn the mechanics of getting a start-up off the ground. With your help, EVO Knowledge may become the first start-up that Chicago built -- and you'll profit from the experience. Read more about Tim Barry and his company.

Question of the week
Tim Barry wants your advice - although he may not always use it. This is where we'll pose the question of the week. Go to this week's question.
