What is AppleScript for Java?
AppleScript for Java brings two very powerful technologies together, allowing
developers and end-users to script java applications in the same manner as Macintosh
applications written with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, or Pascal.
With AppleScript for Java, you may script applets or double-clickable applications
created with JBindery. The lastest version of the Apple Applet Runner and JBindery
which are distrubuted with MRJ
SDK 2.1 are required to use this technology.
To add scripting capability to your application, you need to add a supplied terminology
resource ('aete') to your application. For default scriptability, no additional modification
to your java source is required. For detailed technical information on getting the
most benefit from AppleScript for Java, see Technote 1162 Introduction to MRJ Scripting
with AppleScript for Java.
