Enter the word or phrase you're looking for and click the "search" button. Make sure to look through the results carefully. The search engine ranks documents by the number of times it finds the words you enter in the text box in each document, what part of each document the words are in, and other criteria. If you don't find any results at all or anything relevant:

• check your spelling
• try looking for words that mean the same thing (ie: if you were looking for documents about working with graphics, along with "graphics" you might also try entering "image enhancement" or "multimedia")

If you find too many results, and you fear your search terms are too broad, try adding more words. For example, if you're looking for a Pentium® III processor-compatible motherboard, "Pentium III Processor Motherboard" will get you to what you want quicker than "Pentium." If that doesn't help, take the steps below to narrow your search.

To narrow your search

Step 1) Select your search criteria

• Exact Phrase: Only documents containing the complete phrase you entered are displayed.
• All Words: Only documents containing all words you entered are displayed.
• Any Words: Documents containing any words you entered are displayed.
• Boolean: Select to enter a search using boolean operators or special criteria. See our Advanced Search Tips for more information.

Step 2) Select a category

• All Intel Sites: Includes: www.intel.com, support.intel.com, developer.intel.com and channel.intel.com
• Product Info: Includes information about genuine Intel products. Intel is the world's largest chip maker and leading manufacturer of personal computer, networking, and communications products.
• Support: Offers online support for your Intel product(s).
• Developer: Includes articles, features, technical documents, news and forums to assist hardware and software developers.
• Channel: Offers training programs, product information, and sales tools that distributors, resellers, retailers, dealers, and system integrators need to sell Intel products.
• Company Info: Includes Intel's corporate information, such as the Press Room, Investor Relations, Jobs at Intel, Intel in Education, and more.

Step 3) Select a document language

Step 4) Select the number of results you want returned, from 10 - 200

Then click "Search"
