• Java Capabilties API - Empowers developers to write Java applications that leave the "sandbox." This API extends the level of security now possible with Netscape Communicator

• The Java Runtime Interface - The JRI is a standardized interface into the Java runtime, and allows developers to develop to native methods and applications that integrate java.

• Netscape Client Java Packages - class libraries for calling Javascript and Plug-ins from Java.

• IBM's Java Home - Provides Java developers with resources to create real-world solutions with Java based applications. Check this site often as their news page gets updated frequently.

• Digital Cats -  Provides over 2,000 resources for Applications, Documents, Collections and JavaScripts that can be found by using their search capabilities. Resources are provided in both English and Japanese.

• Gamelan - A directory featuring Java tutorials, sample code, and other Java resources.

• The Java Boutique -- a Web site that includes over 100 applets, including their source code, that you can add to your Web pages.

• The Java Developer's Kit - Just about everything you need to know about writing applets in Sun's new programming language.

• The Java Tutorial: Object-Oriented Programming for the Internet -- a practical, online guide to writing programs in the Java language.

• Inside Java - Contains a growing list of Java advanced examples, articles and courses, tutorials, products comparisons, and resources as well as the latest Java news and developments.

• Java World - A Web-only magazine for Java developers and enthusiasts. Features include live Java applets, example code, reviews, tips, new-product news, news analysis, and links to other Java sites. Great site for what's new.
