OU's Heupel making strong Heisman case
OKLAHOMA QB JOSH HEUPEL showed the college football world that he is deserving of high honors in the Sooners' victory over K-State. At this stage of the season, I feel he should be at or near the top of the Heisman race, basically in a dead heat with Virginia Tech's Michael Vick. Consider his numbers from OU's upset victory. While he finished a remarkable 29-of-37 for 374 yards and two TDs, you notice that his performance level never wavered. more...

Oklahoma's Josh Heupel has thrown 11 TDs.

Ligarius Jennings, CB
Tennessee St.

Whenever you hear any mention of the top CBs available, the names you most often hear include Syracuse's Will Allen, Baylor's Gary Baxter, Mississippi State's Fred Smoot, Utah's Andre Dyson, Arizona State's Nijrell Eason, Ole Miss's Ken Lucas and Kentucky's Eric Kelly. But the small-college ranks also figure to produce a few early-to-mid-round possibilities, with Ligarius Jennings at or near the top of the list.
