Sinéad O'Connor is one of my all-time favorite artists. It makes
me sad that so many people misunderstand her and dislike her. If you think
she is a bitch, read an interview with her. She is a sweet and gentle person.
She is one of the few 'famous people' that I really have a strong desire
to meet.

I was fortunate enough to see her in concert in Mesa in 1990. The concert
was incredible. She has a charisma onstage that is so unique . . . I left
feeling like I knew her. In recognition of her incredible voice, I'd like
to say that as her encore she sang an Irish folk song à capella. She
recieved a standing ovation, which took her off guard; she stood there giggling
into her hands in amazement, and glancing in wonder to someone offstage.
It was very endearing.
