Once-glamorous actress Linda Evans has been ravaged by disastrous plastic surgery. Shocking photographs of the former Dynasty television series star have emerged in the US which reveal the pitfalls of having a facelift.
The 57-year-old, known around the world as Krystle Carrington on the show, has suffered a tragic transformation. Now her eyes look strange and are hollow and drawn. Her lips are misshapen, wrinkled and swollen. Evans admits a facelift and laser surgery 10 years ago have ruined her once-stunning looks. She says: ''At the time I was in love with a younger man and surgery made me feel better. But after 10 years gravity wins out and you have to have it all done again.'' The desperate star has resorted to a do-it-yourself ''home facelift'' device using acupuncture points. But as observers have pointed out, the attempt has had little success.
