The Adventure genre has its roots in the text-based classics such as Zork, eventually growing into the graphical masterpieces of Myst and the classic storytelling of the great Lucasarts adventure games. Only a handfull of Adventure games are released each year, but among their ranks are some of the best-selling classics around.
