Welcome to the homepage of the
First Grade at
ACORN Dual Language Community Academy
Dual Language means two languages. We learn Hmong or Spanish as our second language. Most of our learning is in English. We have about 260 students, Kindergarten through 6th grade.
This year we have studied;
Seeds, Pumpkins, Fall Celebrations, Bats and Bones.
Next, we will explore Winter Celebrations all over the world!
Nov. 23 and 24 we have conferences. This is when we get to show our families all of our wonderful work.

Our building is really under construction. By next summer, the summer of the year 2000 we will have a new hallway between two buildings, four new class rooms and a new multi-purpose room. Yikes!!!! We are so excited. |
