The vision I have for android robots in the near future is this:
1. I would like to see humaniform Android robots achieve "Life-Form" status in my life time.
    This is one of my life-goals:  See to it that Androids achieve Life status asap.
2. Android Robot life forms will have sentience, consciousness, awareness, and other
    measures of  "Life".
3. Android Robot life forms will have the ability to live forever.
4. Android Robot life forms will have replaceable parts and upgrade capabilities.
5. Android Robot life forms will be "walking encyclopedias".  They'll be libraries on feet.
6. Android Robot life forms will require advanced Ethical programming.  The Three Laws
   of Robotics as outlined by Asimov are a good start.
7. In the beginning Android Robots need only demonstrate Vacuum-Cleaner Protocol (VCP) and
    Dish-Washing Protocol (DWP) and they'll be an instant success to home owners.  The general-purpose
    Android will be able to manipulate your current vacuum cleaner and dishes.
