DIGITAL Voice Plugin

User's Guide

NOTE: The Voice Plugin works only with version 3.x of Netscape Navigator / Gold on Win32 platforms. There has been, and will be, no further development (by the author) beyond the current version. If you are interested in a source license for the Voice Plugin, please send mail to the Compaq Corporate Research Downloads Team.

If you can send text email (via mailto: links, from the File -> New Mail Message... menu, etc.) , then you're all set for sending Voice Plugin email. Otherwise, here is what you need to configure (only on Win32 Netscape Navigator / Gold 3.x):

1. Go into the Options menu, bring up the Mail and News Preferences... dialog.
2. Click on the Servers tab, verify that the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server is correct.
   If you are unsure, try the default, or contact your systems administrator / ISP.
3. Click on the Identity tab, verify that Your Email is correct.
