INTERNET.COM ACQUIRES SOLARISGUIDE.COM AND DEVWIRE.COM WEB SITES; NEW SITES EXTEND INTERNET.COM'S LEADING POSITION IN INTERNET TECHNOLOGY CONTENT
(WESTPORT, CT - October 11, 1999) - internet.com (Nasdaq: INTM), The E-Business and Internet Technology Network, today announced the acquisitions of Solarisguide.com and the devWire.com network (http://www.devwire.com) of technical news sites. devWire.com includes ASPWire.com, CEWire.com, SQLWire.com and VBWire.com. The properties have been incorporated into the internet.com Network, extending the company's leading position in business-to-business Internet industry content on the Web.
