Cable Operators vs. ISPs
There's a battle going on for the soul of the broadband Internet, as the vcable companies seek to keep control of their infrastructure--while ISPs say the government should require them to open up their pipes in the name of competition. Ironically, the cable operators' line of defense may invoke an entirely different set of FCC rules: broadcast regulation.
