Intellisoft Announces Snareworks™ for OS/390
Proven software provides secure tunneling and transparent encryption to mainframe applications
DECORUM Conference, New Orleans, Louisiana, March 15, 1999 - Continuing to demonstrate leadership in enabling security solutions for corporate enterprises, IntelliSoft today announced SnareWorks for OS/390. SnareWorks Tunnel for OS/390 will be the first available product in this line of security solutions. SnareWorks security products are used by leading corporations on multiple platforms to enable businesses to maximize information technology in a secure manner.
The SnareWorks Tunnel is well suited for customers that need network access to mission-critical data residing on the mainframe without compromising the integrity and privacy of that information. Due to its transparent design, the SnareWorks Tunnel enables companies to deploy it without disrupting or developing new code for existing mainframe applications. Working in concert with a SnareWorks Gateway, the mainframe can now participate in the distributed security framework the same way as other desktops and UNIX servers.

Pricing and Availability
SnareWorks for OS/390 requires OS/390 Version 2 Release 5 or later with TCP/IP services. SnareWorks Tunnel will ship in Q2 1999. The follow-on releases will include the SnareWorks Rule Server, RACF Synchronization Module, SnareWorks Client/VPN and SnareWorks Web products. These will be available in the second
half of 1999. Pricing for the SnareWorks Tunnel was not available at press time. SnareWorks security software is also available on the following platforms: Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Solaris, AIX and HP-UX.
