Joining IWC and helping to rescue and protect wild animals.

To you who would help wild animals, A PLEA.

Protecting and rescuing wildlife depends on people who deeply care about animals and the fate of the world in which we. But caring by itself -- as important and welcome as it is -- is not enough.

To help animals, we need adequate veterinary supplies to treat wounds and diseases. We need proper housing and feed for recovering animals. And we need safe means of transporting rehabilitated animals to secure release sites.

Helping wildlife also means having the resources, skilled lawyers, expert scientists, and political advocates to directly confront governments, industries, interest groups, and individuals who would harm wildlife for profit, recreation or to make way for inappropriate development.

To meet these needs, to rescue suffering animals, to protect them from those who would kill them for fun or profit requires adequate funding.

That funding, the crucial dollars, pounds and marks, the make protecting and rescuing wild animals possible must come from people like you -- people who care.

Please find it in your heart to make a generous gift to help the animals we are working to save.

They have only you to depend on, only you for hope.
