As Chief Technical Officer of the Web Developers Journal, Kief Morris
keeps the mechanical parts of the site chugging along, and constantly adds
new bits and pieces to make it cooler.
Unlike many propellor heads, Kief claims to be an OS
agnostic, giving both Unix and NT their due. He has been heard, however, to
lament that using Microsoft products has a way of locking you into their product
line, making it difficult to use non-Microsoft technologies even when they make
more sense.
Kief is most fluent in Perl, and he also speaks good C and JavaScript, with
a conversational command of C++, Java, SQL, and some other odds and ends. He
holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, and is currently working
as Senior Software Developer for the new media agency Syzygy in London. For more
