Bigloo is a Scheme implementation devoted to one goal: enabling Scheme based programming style where C(++) is usually required. Bigloo attempts to make Scheme practical by offering features usually presented by traditional programming languages but not offered by Scheme and functional programming. Bigloo compiles Scheme modules. It delivers small and fast stand alone binary executables. Bigloo enables full connections between Scheme and C programs.
See the ChangeLog file for novelties of this release. The version Bigloo2.1a.tar.gz is missing two files: bigloo2.1a/bmacs/bee/bee-kbdb.el and bigloo2.1a/bmacs/cee/cee-kbdb.el. If you have downloaded that version, you will have to download these additional files and move them into your current emacs lisp path. The release Bigloo2.1a2.tar.gz does contains these files.
You may download the Bigloo distribution in tar.gz format. You may download pre-compiled versions, old distributions or get information on systems where Bigloo has been ported to by following this link.
Bigloo Release 2.0 contains an integrated development environment: the
Bee.
This environment handles Makefile generation, project management,
symbolic debugging, source file browsing, profile for tuning, etc.
You may find documentation for Bigloo and the Bee
from this site.
