Linux.com: A Linux Community Production
The Linux phenomenon is fueled by a community of thousands of
developers and millions of users worldwide. Linux.com is proud to
have been given birth by one of the great companies, VA Linux Systems, that believes
community support should play a serious part in any business plan
of a "Linux Company."
Linux.com is supported by a staff of volunteers, and members that are employed
by VA; however, there are plans in the works to allow for other
companies to fund staff member slots as well. If you are interested
in participating in such a venture, contact me.
Linux.com will be a fully neutral site and not will promote VA over
any other company. We want to create a place where everyone can feel
that they are a part of something big -- a truly unique community site:
by the people, for the people, and of the people.
Enjoy the Linux.com community site. If you have any questions at
all, I am at your disposal.
Yours Sincerely,
Trae "OctobrX" McCombs
