HOWTOs have been processed. A little late
but the Holidays have been busy for all of
us. For more information please see the right
pane.
Clarification:
We are only accepting DocBook for Guides at this time.
We are NOT accepting DocBook for HOWTOs, FAQs, or
mini HOWTOs.
New logo, new front page, accepting DocBook, CVS in process,
more docs!
The LDP now has a logo!
The LDP wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to everyone
who participated in the logo contest.
The quality of the entries that were submitted was
outstanding! You may view the finalists and the
winning logo here.
Our congratulations go out to the winner,
crdempsey@uswest.net!
We are now accepting DocBook. We are NOT abandoning
Linuxdoc, however with the increased usage of
DocBook in DP projects (KDE, Postgres, Gnome)
we are slowly moving towards DocBook. There is a preliminary
DocBook resource page available
here.
We are currently only accepting
DocBook based documentation for GUIDES. HOWTOS are still to be
written in Linuxdoc. More info will follow for FAQs.
Document updates on the right hand side, also a new guide is available.
The Linux Administration Made Easy (LAME) guide attempts to describe day
to day administration and maintenance issues commonly faced by Linux system
administrators. The online
HTML version can be found here.
