Linux Community Votes For Show Favorites in New York City
LINUXWORLD CONFERENCE & EXPO, New York - February 8, 2000 - IDG World Expo presented its LinuxWorld Conference & Expo Show Favorites Awards at a special ceremony at the Jacob Javits Center, New York City. Enhanced Software Technologies, Inc. was presented with the "Best of Show" category for its BRU Backup & Restore Utility.

Event attendees selected Show Favorite Award winners. Votes were cast on ballots using web-based kiosks on the show floor to select favorites in various categories. The Show Favorites Awards were sponsored by Omnis Software and were presented to each winning company on the show floor by a company representative of Omnis Software.
