Macmillan USA has announced the release of "LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a
Exam Guide" and "LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a Cheat Sheet" from
Que Publishing, an imprint of Macmillan. These books will help
prepare Linux operating system administrators for the Linux
Professional Institute Certified (LPIC) Linux Level 1-Test 1a.

Macmillan USA has announced the release of LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a
Exam Guide and LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a Cheat Sheet
from Que Publishing, an imprint of Macmillan. These books will help
prepare Linux operating system administrators for the Linux Professional
Institute Certified (LPIC) Linux Level 1-Test 1a, the first of several
certification tests from The Linux Professional Institute (LPI). Macmillan
and Que are Charter Sponsors of LPI and participate on the LPI Advisory Council.
Macmillan is the market share leader for Linux operating
systems units sold at retail, accounting for 52% of total units sold at retail
in August. With these new book offerings, Macmillan fortifies their continued
commitment to be ``The Place for Linux'' for its Linux-faithful audience.
This crowd includes Linux administrators who must demonstrate their Linux
proficiency through certification tests such the LPIC Linux Level 1-Test 1a.
LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a Exam Guide serves as a personal
instructor, providing tutorial text, study notes, lab practices and sample
tests, and includes a bonus quick reference guide to aid in retaining
important exam information. LPIC Linux Level 1 Test 1a Cheat Sheet
is streamlined to quickly identify and correct weak areas, and
heighten retention of the skills necessary to pass the LPI exam.
LPI is a community project
established to develop a professional certification program for Linux. The
