Unsubscribe from Linux on PowerPC™ Mail Lists
This form is not the only way, or even the preferred way, of unsubscribing to these lists, it's here only as a convenience.
What to expect
A confirmation message will be mailed to the address you specify below. If you cannot receive mail at that address, you can't unsubscribe using this form, you must unsubscribe via e-mail as described in the list info file.The confirmation message must be returned to the list-request address specified in the message to complete the unsubscription. Follow the instructions in the confirmation message completely and exactly. Note that MIME and HTML formatting will void your confirmation, as will line wrapping. Instructions are included in the confirmation message on how to work around line wrapping mailers if you can't control your mailer's behavior (but why would you use a mailer you can't control?). If you use a GUI mailer, you should assume that it wraps lines, although you cannot assume non-GUI mailers don't wrap lines.
When your confirmation is received and verified, you will be unsubscribed from the specified list. No further verification is sent. Note that you may continue to receive list mail that's already queued for delivery even after successfully unsubscribing. Be patient, it will stop once the backlog is delivered.
