Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 OLAP Services users will benefit from the functionality made available in the Data Transformation Services (DTS) Task Kit 1 and OLAP Manager Add-in Kit.

The DTS Task Kit 1 contains the OLAP Services Processing Task. This task provides functionality that enables you to create and execute DTS packages that perform processing of one or more cubes or other OLAP Services objects. The first step is to use the new task to define your DTS package. Then you can run the package immediately, or schedule the package to run one or more times in the future.

Note: SQL Server 7.0, including SQL Server Enterprise Manager and the OLAP Manager, must be installed in order to use the DTS Task Kit 1.

Installation Notes:

• This add-in runs only on Intel-based x86-processor systems. It must be installed as a member of the OLAP Manager Administrators group in Microsoft Windows NT® Server. You can determine which users belong to the OLAP Administrators group on a particular domain by using the User Manager in Windows NT Server.
   
• This add-in is provided in English only, but will function properly if installed in non-English systems.
   
• The add-in installed by the OLAP Services DTS Task Kit 1 appears on the task palette of the DTS design surface.
   
• By default, DTSTasksReadMe.txt is installed in the Help subfolder of the OLAP Services folder.
