We are looking for a self-starter to
build Yahoo! Mexico. You'll have primary responsibility for building and
maintaining products designed specifically for the mexican internet audience
as well as keeping the office running. You must have 2-4 years of
Internet/web experience with an emphasis on Perl, C, SQL (Oracle, MySQL),
Apache, UNIX and Windows NT. Your ability to manage multiple projects at the
same time is essential. Experience with FreeBSD a plus. Fluency (both
written and oral) in Spanish is required.

Design
web products for surfers all over the world. You will be responsible
for designing and globalizing product user interfaces for international
Yahoo sites. Must have a BFA/BA in Visual, Product, or Industrial
Design or equivalent and 1-3 (+) years of experience in web/information
design products. Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML skills are required,
and experience with localizing and designing multilingual web sites
is a plus. Fluency (written and spoken) in English and at least one
foreign language (preferably Spanish, Chinese or European language)
is required. A good understanding of information design principles
and an ability to think out of the box is a must. Knowledge of Dynamic
HTML, Flash, and Javascript is a plus.
