In order to test the functionality in terms of interfaces and services of NATO Core Network the Switched Network Interconnection Project was formed. This project connects national defense switches from four nations to a testbed located in NC3A(NL). The switches are initially existing NC3A owned assets, but will be replaced by the first core switches. It is expected that more nations join the test as they become ready.
