Rick Mirer and the Jets went down on Monday night. |

Jetlag
Heading into Week 5, Bill Parcells had never lost to Tom Coughlin. But on Monday night, that all changed, as Parcells' Jets fell to Coughlin's Jacksonville Jaguars 16-6 at Giants Stadium. Parcells had beaten Coughlin three straight times prior to Monday, but was unable to keep the streak alive against his former pupil as New York's offense sputtered. The Jets' only scoring came courtesy of John Hall, who booted a pair of field goals. New York plays host to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6.
