Year 2000 Compliance Statement

Existing Northern Light applications on all computer systems accommodate processing beyond January 1, 2000. All Northern Light hardware platforms and facilities equipment comply with the standard 4-digit year format. All future computer environments (hardware, software, and applications) shall comply with the standard 4-digit year format.

All hardware and software purchased in the future will be certified to be Year 2000 compliant. Corporate date standards have been defined and implemented for all Northern Light systems.

Northern Light is committed to delivering Year 2000 compliant systems and as such is working closely with our data vendors and our customers to ensure compliance.

Northern Light defines "Year 2000 Compliance" as follows:

  • Northern Light software products will accurately process date/time data for all dates in the 20th and first half of the 21st century.

  • Northern Light software products performing date calculations will correctly identify that the year 2000 is a leap year (February 29, 2000) and will handle this situation correctly.
