The CD-840 was developed to bring the power and flexibility of CD-ROM technology to notebook and desktop PCs. The slim type CD-840 provides a 1200KB data transfer rate for CD-ROM content, it supports Audio-CD, CD-ROM mode 1 & 2, CD-XA,  Multi-session Photo CD, CD-I, and CD-R. The CD-840 dual-port capability makes it the most flexible portable CD-ROM drive in the market!
