Python bugs list

The search results are not presented directly; instead, only the number of hits in each bug category (incoming, open, resolved etc.) is listed; you have to click on a folder name with a nonzero count to see a table of bug reports. Once you see the table, you can click on the numbers in the "Id" column to show the full text of a particular bug report.
The search text you entered above is actually a regular expression. If you don't know what regular expressions are, limit yourself to a single alphanumeric key word, e.g. a Python module name.

To report a new bug, go to the bug submission form.

Please don't use your browser's Reload or Refresh button to reload the confirmation page you get after submitting your bug report. Due to a problem with Jitterbug, the bug reporting software we are using, this will submit a second copy of your bug report. Use the "Refresh" button in the form instead.
Before submitting a bug report, try searching the bugs list (above) and the Python newsgroup.
