This is the temporary home of the Linux Professional Certification Project.
Our goal is to further the acceptance of the Linux OS in the general mainstream IT community by the establishment of standards and methodology for training, testing and professional certification of Linux administration, networking and programming personnel.
While many in the Linux community may feel that this is not necessary, we feel that this process will further acceptance in the mainstream IT community.

This is a new endeavor.....volunteers, suggestions; input of any kind is encouraged and appreciated. Email us at linuxpcp@swbell.net . We would be especially interested in hearing from anyone interested in translating this web-site into other languages. Please bookmark this page for future reference. We will be obtaining a domain name and web server in the next couple of weeks, and will of course leave a link here to the new location.
