The
Basics
The Webshots Daily is a website where you click to download your new FREE image (known as the Daily Photo). The Webshots
Daily is also a fully customizable
"homepage" that includes current weather, headlines, search engines, and other
useful resources. We recommend that you visit the Webshots Daily
first each day by making it your Web Browser's start page! The Webshots
Desktop is a FREE software program. It
runs on Windows 95/98/NT and allows users to display great photographs as
"Wallpaper" behind their desktop icons. When the computer is idle, the Webshots Desktop is a "Screen Saver" for their monitor.
Every day, the Webshots
Desktop will flash this camera icon in
the the lower right-hand corner of your computer screen. This is a reminder that there is
a new FREE image waiting for you online. If you click on the the camera icon or press
Ctrl-Shift-D keys together your Web Browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Netscape) will open
a new window to the Webshots
Daily
Note: You must have the Webshots Desktop
running on your computer to download and install Daily Photos as "Wallpaper!" It
is FREE and available here.
