The Colorizer

Your browser cannot run the Colorizer. This could be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. You have disabled the execution of Java applets in your browser's preferences (enable them).
  2. Your browser does not support Java applets (get a new browser, or get the Java Activator plug-in).
  3. Your browser supports a version of the Java API earlier than 1.0 (get a new browser, or get the Java Activator plug-in).

You can get more information on the Colorizer in the help page

In a pinch, you can use the Colorizer like this:

  1. Select which color you want to edit by clicking on the background or one of the lines of text in the box in the lower left.
  2. Select a variable (red, green, blue, hue, saturation, brightness) and set it using the vertical bar. Set the other two variables in that color model by using the square selector on the top right. Alternatively, just enter values in the text box for each variable and press <Enter>.
  3. Copy the colors you selected from the output boxes in the bottom right to your document or style sheet. You can also enter colors in one of the three notations into these boxes and then edit them.
  4. For more detailed instructions and information, click on the "Help" button.
