Contains the latest QuickTime information and software from Apple, the creators of QuickTime. Includes news and updates, developer's information, resources, samples and an open forum. The QuickTime plug-in lets you experience QuickTime animation, music, MIDI, audio, video, and VR panoramas and objects directly in a Web page. It works seamlessly within firewall environments and requires no special server software. Available for Mac 68K/PPC and all flavors of Windows. Note that QuickTime is a file format, and can use most any codec (compressor/decompressor).

PPC and all flavors of Windows. 28.8 version uses about 21kbps of bandwidth (or about 2.5 KB/s).
