Q. Who can use this bulletin board?
A. Pretty much anyone who wants to. All we really ask is that you display
courtesy and respect toward your fellow readers (read: no flames!)
Q. Do I have to register?
A. No, well...Yes...OK--it depends. You can forgo registration and log in as
"guest" and browse through all of the current postings.
Registration is only necessary in order to post.
Q. What do you do with the personal information from my registration?
A. We save it for a rainy day, and then sell it to the highest bidder. JUST
KIDDING! We would never sell or otherwise share this information with
anyone else. It is asked merely to protect the integrity of the boards.
Q. Can't I just email you with questions?
A. Sure! I don't mind that a bit. However, if you post a question to
the board, then everyone can benefit from the discussion. You may get a faster
response, too. I get 20-30 emails per day, and sometimes it takes me a while to get
through them all.
Q. Will I get accurate, technically sound advice and answers to my questions?
A. You know what they say: "You get what you pay for." I promise to
do my best to give the best answers and advice possible, and I expect that other people
posting will do the same. However, you are ultimately responsible for your own
actions, and what you do with the information provided here is up to you!
Q. Someone told me that there is a Windows NT password recovery utility called
"fdisk." Does that really work?
A. See the previous question, then give it a try!
