Bjorg Fjell Gruppen AS Achieves Greater Focus and Efficiency with TeleComputing Solution

The Bjørg Fjell Group consists of three companies:

  • Vikarbyrået Bjørg Fjell AS, an agency for temporary office assistance
  • Bjørg Fjell Lønn- og Regnsskapsservice AS, an accounting agency
  • Dentamed AS, a providers of accounting and financial consulting for dentists and physicians

TeleComputing got in touch with the Bjørg Fjell Group at the right time: just as their old server was ready for replacement and Kristian Wold, Chief of Finance at the Bjørg Fjell Group, needed clearly defined computing costs.

"The whole setup had to be replaced," says Wold.

The Bjørg Fjell Group consists of three companies with different histories. The composition of software applications was complex. As many as 19 printers distributed among 26 users also presented special demands for a solution.

Wold was convinced that an online solution was the right thing for the Bjørg Fjell Group from a financial point of view and for security and stability.

"TeleComputing simply provided us with a new and more professional information technology platform. In real-life terms, TeleComputing is now our computer department," says Wold.

"We were especially happy to put our email system in order. Now each employee has his or her own email address, whereas we used to have one email address for the whole company," says Wold.

The Bjørg Fjell Group praises TeleComputing for its high level of competency, and is most impressed with the short response time on its support line.

Wold finds the shadow function, which supports the user on-screen, most useful.

"The services provided by TeleComputing equal those of a full-time employee. And we no longer need to make any hardware or software investments. Finally, TeleComputing took care of all the year-2000 problems we had," says Wold.
