This is basically pbmplus in Java - an image processing toolkit built from readers, writers, and filters, that can be hooked together like tinkertoys. We're just getting started so things are still a little sparse.

The goodies are mostly in sub-packages:

• Acme.JPM.Decoders - read in images from external streams
• Acme.JPM.Encoders - write out images to external streams
• Acme.JPM.Filters - image manipulation
