You are unable to find the file you want to download on Adobe's Web or FTP site
Solutions
Do one or more of the following:
Solution 1
Visit the Downloadable Files Web page on Adobe's Web site to navigate to the file you want.
Solution 2
If you want information related to software development, such as a file format specification or Software Development Kit (SDK), see Technical Notes for Developers or SDKs on Adobe's Web site.
Solution 3
If you want fonts, visit the Type Browser on Adobe's Web site to view the typefaces available in Adobe's type library. Typefaces are not available for free download. To purchase them:
- Buy and download immediately from Adobe's Web site at www.adobe.com/type/. Some restrictions may apply when purchasing and downloading from the Web. Please visit our Web site for details.
- If you are in the United States and Canada, contact Adobe Type On Call Customer Services at 800-682-3623. If you are outside the United States and Canada, contact your local Adobe reseller or distributor.
Solution 4
If you want a PostScript Printer Description (PPD) file, do one or more of the following:
-- Use the PPD file included with your printer. Most PostScript printers include a disk or CD-ROM disc that contains the PPD file. If you cannot find this disk, contact the printer manufacturer for a replacement.
-- Visit your printer manufacturer's Web site or FTP site to obtain the PPD file.
-- Visit the Printer Drivers page on Adobe's Web site, which may have the PPD file you want. Although Adobe distributes many PPD files as a courtesy to Adobe customers, PPD files are created by printer manufacturers. It is each manufacturer's responsibility to provide them. Adobe does not guarantee that it will distribute the PPD file you want.
-- If you work with a service bureau or print shop to create professionally printed documents, see if they have the PPD file you want.

Search Adobe's Web site for the desired file.
Solution 6
Browse Adobe's FTP site to navigate to the file you are looking for. This solution is recommended only for users who are experienced with directly accessing FTP sites.

Adobe distributes a variety of files online, but not all Adobe files and updates are available online.
Note: Adobe does not support third-party software, including, but not limited to, Web browsers and FTP client applications. An FTP client application is an application that is designed primarily for accessing FTP sites. FTP client applications offer no Web browsing capabilities.
