Names and Email Addresses for Greetings.
When you send one of our greetings, we use the information you give us to customize the greeting with your name and the recipient's name and to deliver email notifications to you and the recipient. The names and email addresses you give us are NOT sold, compiled into any type of mailing list, or otherwise used for any type of email solicitation.

Personal and Financial Information for Gift Program.
Our gift program, which can be used to link a gift, gift certificate, or charitable donation to a greeting, is "powered by" Lucidity, Inc. Lucidity works with Blue Mountain and our merchant and charity partners to connect your Blue Mountain greeting with your gift or donation. To help Lucidity provide and support that service, and to make that service easier for you to use, we share your name and email address with Lucidity. Lucidity will ask you for your credit card information in order to process any product purchase by you. Lucidity does not share any information from or regarding you with our merchant and charity partners. However, our merchant and charity partners also may ask for your credit card information in certain circumstances if needed to complete a requested purchase or donation. In addition, they may request contact and shipping information in order to send you a receipt or merchandise. Cookies.
Blue Mountain occasionally uses cookies for referral tracking, which does not use or track any of your personal information. In connection with our gift program Lucidity and/or our merchant and charity partners may use cookies in order to provide that service for you.

Lucidity and the merchants and charities participating in our gift program have their own privacy policies over which Blue Mountain has reviewed and found to satisfactorily protect the privacy of our users while allowing them to conduct e-commerce transactions. You will have an opportunity to review their privacy policies before you provide any information to them. Your Security
Blue Mountain collects and maintains no user information other than IP addresses, names, and email addresses. When you provide this information to send a Blue Mountain greeting, it is no less secure than sending your own email. Any credit card information provided to Lucidity in connection with the Blue Mountain gift program is entered on a secure server using secure socket layer technology (SSL) from Thawte.(r) That information is encrypted from the time it leaves your computer and is maintained in a secure database behind a firewall. The merchants and charities participating in Blue Mountain's gift program also use security measures to protect the information you provide them. Please refer to their respective Web sites for information about their security measures. In the unlikely event of an unauthorized use of your credit card as a result of your credit card purchase through Blue Mountain's gift program, simply notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges.
