Welcome to the Stancliff Spectrum., Ltd Homepage!  One of two official support sites for Dawn of the Hunted and Elias Isle: Quest for the Skyrocks.  Elias Isle is not yet completed.  Please read on for details on SSL and its products. (Note, SSL is now part of Liquid Light Tech., Ltd.!)

Elias Isle: Quest for the Skyrocks

Elias Isle: Quest for the Skyrocks is the fastest, most advanced BBS door to ever be released. (or at least it will be)  It includes the following:

Version .90

• Free movement in an ANSI-animating map, complete with flowing water and trees. (Over 40 maps, all with animation!)
• Over 15 towns/villages, controled with light bars. (Moved by the users arrow keys)
• An ANSI battle engine that allows you to fight up to 6 monsters at the same time, and use over 12 magical spells! All controled by ANSI light bars! (Note, the monster file contains over 300 default monsters, BUT the SysOp can ADD (insert) or REMOVE (delete) at will.  There are NO limitations on how many monsters can be in a certain level.
• A full featured scripting language allows you to change ANY (ANY) aspect of the game. Or, you can create new parts of the game.  For example, maybe a shooting range.  Perhaps a casino... Perhaps a...
• A menu editor, which allows you to change ANY town, village, or city! Not only can you change the keys to do a certian function, but you can add your own, by making scripts! Its so easy, even a Tickle-Me Elmo can do it!
• A menu compiler, to compile the over 4000 line MENUFILE. (This allows you to change any (ANY) ANSI screen in the game.  With this, the menu editor, and the SCRIPT COMPILER, you have FULL control over ANY aspect of the game.)
• Oh yeah. The player can carry over 40 items.  Including health kits, weapons, armor. They can be equiped/removed on the fly, used in battle, or just take up space!
• All items are confiurable to the SysOp. So much so, you could turn the "Small Health Kit" into a "Large Elephants Ear", and instead of making it heal, you could have it do damage to anyone near it!
• "Dummy Mode", which tells player what to do next. (For the truly sad individuals who can't follow a story.) Of course, dummy mode runs off a script!
• A story that will keep even the most TV-rotted individual excited until the end!
• And MUCH, MUCH more...

Version 1.00

Multi-Node features, including:

• Multi-player maps, with both (or several) players appearing and moving at thier own will.
• The ability to chat with users just by running into thier cursor, or sending "Quick Messages"
• Full featured ANSI/PIPE CODE editor, and TEXT/SCRIPT editor, complete with syntax highlighting!

I promised Elias Isle a long time ago, but it is bigger then I expected. But it will be worth the wait, and will be be a whole "New World" in BBS gaming.

As of writing, I have over 35 scripts that are fully editable by the SysOp.  Some range from 5 lines, to over a hundred.

In fact, Elias Isle is SO dependant upon scripts, ELIAS.PAS (the .EXE file) looks like this:
