The K6-2 Review (300-400Mhz)

I have been using my AMD K6-2 for more than six months now, and it is about time that I wrote a review of AMD's K6-2 processors. If you have read the other reviews and articles on my site, you will have already seen the K6-2 300Mhz benchmark results presented in this article; I have now added K6-2 350Mhz and K6-2 400Mhz test results.

AMD is about to release the K6-3 to compete with Intel's Pentium 3; I will be reviewing both the K6-3 and the Pentium 3 as soon as possible.

I will be presenting a number of benchmarks where the K6-2 is overclocked. I do not recommend that you run your processor over its rated speed - it is possible to damage your CPU. I do not accept any responsibility if you damage your processor.
