JavaScript Mini-FAQ
Sooner, or later, as we start learning and using JavaScript, we will all have questions we want answered. One author, Danny Goodman, has compiled a list of typical questions people ask when starting out with JavaScript.

Name: Jim Lum
Subject: closewin + form submit
Date: 10-14-1999 08:57PM

Problem:
How do I combine a closewin and an
HTML FORM SUBMIT at the same time?
What does the exact code look like?

Situation:
A shopping cart item had a ton of options
so I opened a pop-up window with all of the
options along with a form submit button.
When a client clicks the submit button,
the order is submitted but the pop-up
window remains.
P.S. I am a total javascript novice.
