Hello

what is the best way to hide the url once a user has logged in ?
the url could be used by unauthorised others by reading the url.......

Depends on what you want, and how you implement things.
Frames can be quite usefull.

If you don't want unauthorized people hitting the pages, you need to have people log in to an access list on your webserver. Apache will gives you this option. Simply "hiding" the URL is not going to stop anyone that really wants to get in. Rely on Apache not PHP for this one!
