I am confuse about which scripting language is powerfull and usefull for me. Because i decided work with Oracle8 database and on Unix platform. So pls help me and solve my problems.... Thank you!

it depends on your work...
PHP is the most flexible lang and works on all platforms. also the lang. is pretty easy.

JSP on the other end is complex. (as its derived from Java lang. itself) its used for higher server-side app. scripting. But if u have done some lang. like C or C++ or any other before Java or JSP should be no probs.

but if your tasks are relatively low-end or some where mid-end its preferable to do PHP.
Usually ppl. do PHP and JSP both.
And depending on the Org. the specific Server-side script lang. is used.

One more things Java and PHP can both used on Unix/Linux platforms or OS's.
