Can I ask one question to all of you regardings on the subject above.

I'm making a shopping cart by using the php programming and using the virtual server to host it. The magic_quotes_gpc on the server is set to ON but my shopping cart is need to set that variable OFF... How can I set it OFF without change the php configuration which need the server administrator to change it. Can I use some programming method to set the magic_quotes_gpc = OFF?
