Data Administration Constituent Group

This EDUCAUSE constituent group is designed for sharing ideas and concerns about institutional data policies; the role of data administration in the development of information systems and in training users to understand and appropriately use data and the data dictionary; and the technical, political, and organizational issues related to data security. This constituent group usually meets at the EDUCAUSE annual conference and the annual forum of the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and uses an electronic discussion list (called DASIG) to discuss issues on an ongoing basis throughout the year.
