Biodiversity and Elephant Conservation Trust
Biodiversity and Elephant Conservation Trust is in Sri Lanka and focuses on the conservation of both the wild and tame elephants in Sri Lanka, included in your list of elephant cionservation organisations.
Our Trustees ar Prof Charles Santiapillai, Rohan Pethiyagoda, MichaelSproule and Jayantha Jayewardene.
We are engaged in an Awareness Programme in schools in the areas affected by human-elephant conflicts, training of veterinary surgeons and elepahnt management staff, elephant surveys etc.
We need the help and assistance of anybody willing to help in any way in this gigantic task.
