Excite is provided to you free of charge, "as is." Excite uses its best efforts to maintain Excite, but is not responsible for the results of any defects that may be found to exist in Excite, or any lost profits or other consequential damages that may result from such defects. You should not assume that Excite is error-free or that it will be suitable for the particular purpose that you have in mind when using it.

The Excite technology automatically produces search results that reference sites and information located worldwide throughout the Internet. Because Excite has no control over such sites and information, Excite makes no guaranties as to such sites and information, including as to: (i) the accuracy, currency, content, or quality of any such sites and information, or (ii) whether an Excite search may locate unintended and objectionable content.

Because some of the content on the Internet consists of material that is adult-oriented or otherwise objectionable to some people, the results of your search using Excite may automatically and unintentionally generate links or references to objectionable material. Excite can make no claim that such surprises will not occur. Computerized search technology does not give you search results limited to only the hits that you were seeking. There may be extraneous hits as well.
