Applications for the 7th Annual Tenagra Awards now online

HOUSTON, January 11, 2001 -- At a time when Internet companies are dropping harder than coconuts off palm trees in a hurricane, the 7th annual Tenagra Awards for Internet Marketing Excellence might play out like the "Survivor" TV series -- with only the strongest and most popular brands holding on for dear life.

"The fallout among Internet companies makes it more important than ever to recognize and honor those companies that are succeeding," said Tenagra's president and founder, Dr. Clifford R. Kurtzman, "They will be remembered as the true pioneers of the new millennium, and they can teach others how to forge ahead."

The Tenagra Awards for Internet Marketing Excellence have been the leading industry award each year since 1994, providing peer recognition to organizations and individuals that have made fundamental achievements and innovations in the field of Internet marketing.

This year, awards will be evaluated in five different categories:

  • Category 1: Online Business Models

  • Category 2: Online Customer Service

  • Category 3: Integrated Online Marketing Effort

  • Category 4: Publication focused on Internet Marketing

  • Category 5: Individual Contribution to Internet Marketing

Detailed applications and instructions for each of the categories are provided at http://awards.tenagra.com/. There is no cost to submit an application. The application deadline is February 20, 2001.
