Product name: SuperNova Component Developer
Description:
SuperNova Component Developer is a visual environment for developing applications and integrating components. Allows for building and generating transparent applications that run, without changes, on most platforms. Applications can be distributed and dynamically repartitioned across multiple systems. Visual Designers and Wizards are available to build 4GL for the different applications tiers: Data, Business Logic and User Interface being GUI (Motif and Windows), Java or HTML based. SuperNova has native interfaces for more than 15 databases and file structures (e.g. Oracle, Informix and Sybase). The free-of-charge product for Linux will not expire but has only interfaces for ASCII data files, FoxPro and c-tree. Interfacing to RDBMS’s requires upgrading to the commercial version of SuperNova for Linux. SuperNova supports most of the industry standards such as CORBA/IIOP, (D)COM, DCE, HTTP, HTML, POP3, SMTP and CGI.
